rules and information

.  RULES:  ..  1  .  I am willing to explore mature themes (conflict, violence, injury, intimacy, and other mature topics) but require good communication ahead of time, and during to ensure all parties are aware, and comfortable. Along with this, for themes of a dark/mature nature I prefer to interact with others that are 21+..  2  .  IC =/= OOC - The actions/words of my character do not reflect upon me, the writer. Nor do my actions/words reflect upon the character. This also includes any above-board knowledge that may be discussed for plot purposes unless expressly communicated. If it's not provided in the Hooks, or cleared for use by me please do not use information obtained OOCly to approach/interact..  3   . I will not RP permanent character death, violence against a minor, or engage in non-consensual interactions. There are limits to what I consider acceptable themes so please do not approach me about these topics.

.  INFO  ..  1  .  I am a 30+ dad of two so my availability may at times be variable. Typically, though, I can be available in-game during the daytime and evening hours, though Discord is always a viable option. You can contact me at any time to setup RP (redline1221), and we can arrange a time in-game or set something up through the app..  2  .  I've been roleplaying for well over 15 years and am passionate about making good, communicative connections with folks in regards to RP. I've run the gamut when it comes to MMO's but FF is where I've decided to make my home longterm. Aside from RP I'm always happy to simply discuss plots, characters, or do content. Just ask!.  3  .  This is only one of several characters that I presently RP, so if there's a chance another of my muses might be a better fit for a character to interact with, feel free to inquire and we can plot or simply chat.

Hooks

BARDIC PERFORMANCE.  COMMON  .Vanric's time was often spent performing at local venues; taverns, festivals, and the occasional street performance. Perhaps you saw or heard him strum the harp or mandolin before, and are curious to learn more about the wandering minstrel.─── ⋆ ✰ ⋆ ───ADVENTURING.  COMMON  .Recently he's taken up a form of adventuring, predominantly wandering Eorzea and taking on odd jobs. Maybe you were a former client, or a prospective employer. All are welcome to inquire.

MARKET GOER.  LESS COMMON  .Over spotted frequenting the markets in Ul'dah, and Limsa Lominsa, Vanric would often negotiate with various traders to secure what looked to be trade goods. Materials, cloth, food, and occasionally weapons. Where these were going, and what their purpose was could never be discerned. Perhaps you were one of those traders, or simply a curious passerby that wants to know.─── ⋆ ✰ ⋆ ───SHROUD NATIVE.  LESS COMMON  .Born in the Shroud, and living within its shelter for most of his life, Vanric was known to visit the outlying hovels and villages that existed at the fringes of Gridanian rule. Offering aid, his company, or bartering for goods he always made a point to check on them from time to time.

RED HAND.  RARE  .Rumors lingered among the people of a band of outlaws, bandits they presumed, who lingered deep within the Shroud. Accused of harrying merchant and citizen alike despite the lack of any evidence, their spectre lingered in the minds of the few that cared to notice. The only known victims were, ironically, a group of foreign poachers whose bodies were left butchered and scattered around their ruined camp.─── ⋆ ✰ ⋆ ───GRIDANIAN FUGITIVE.  RARE  .Roughly a year passed, the Woodwailers apprehended a small group of citizens. Their names were kept secret, their crimes never publicly released. On the very night they were imprisoned they were observed fleeing the city, having suffered severe wounds, and trailed by a lone figure cloaked in leather and shadow. In the wake of that evening, a small group of wailers were left dead, and a single survivor was left to offer testimony. All he could remember was the flash of a spear, a hushed voice, and the sweep of scarlet hair before he passed out.
